1968 jaguar xke 2+2. The good currently running, inspected and on the road. I drive it almost every day. This car runs, drives shifts and stops very well. Starts well even when it’s 30 degrees outside. It has the tri-carb setup which gives it a lot of punch compared to the dual stomberg carbs. Recently painted british racing green. Frame number and engine block number match. Engine head number does not match. The bad headliner and carpeting are not original, but both can easily be removed. Heater is missing odometer does not work. Reads 25,000 miles but this is not correct. Floors have some rust. I replaced the drivers side floor and had the passenger side floor patch welded. They arefully functional but if someone wants to take this car to the next level they should be replaced. The rest ofthe car has very little rust.

Previous owner used this car as a daily driver. Starts right up it runs like a e type should drive and shifts very smooth ,never ever go hot very well maintain. Ithas a very small oil leak coming out from the engine oil pan but could be fix easily. Floors absolutely clean of rust ! I do new rubber kit put in. Chrome is in really good condition. Completed the 30th of july 1963 and dispatched shortly after on august 12th, destined for the states through jaguarcars, new york; this car was purchased new by j. Golden of pineville, kentucky. As a mid-1963 production it isone of the early leather console cars that came after the metal dash examples. This series i was last registeredfor the road in 1973, a period tag indicates the e-type spent life in pennsylvania and was later parked severaldecades ago. The car is complete with no missing parts, all numbers match. The roadster remains complete with factory upholstery adorning the cabin and spear seats, correct motorola radio,auxiliaries and trim. Equipped with its numbers-matching powerplant this example makes for an exciting find of theever desirable and appreciating early xke. It is the ideal candidate for a quality restoration in its attractiveoriginal color combination. Included with the sale is the jaguar heritage trust certificate.

Up for consideration 1968 jaguar xke coupe. New battery new fuel pump new fuel filter new plugs new wires new electronic distributor tank cleaned and refueled with fresh gasoline stromberg carburetor's cleaned and rebuilt brakes, components and brake lines have all been replaced/rebuilt during restoration fuel lines replaced during restoration electric fan installed during restoration all glass is in excellant working condition and was replaced during restoration all weather stripping was replaced during restoration tires are 100% and were replaced during restoration all suspension and steering components including shocks were replaced during restoration headlights work properly on low and high beam, tail lights work, brake lights work, reverse light works. Interior lights function properly wipers function properly this car was restored approximately 10 to 15 years ago and then placed in storage. I have recently drained the fueltank, replaced the items listed above and now the car runs and drives. There are a couple things left to do on thecar. Stereo needs updating. Blinkers don't want to flash. Title states actual miles 52xxx. Floors are solid and thecar shows no rust issues. Paint is driver quality. Chrome and stainless show nicely but are not show quality.

When we drove the car, to shoot the pictures, it started right up, ran great, shifted as designed and steered and stopped with little to no effort. All the chrome & stainless trim is in show quality condition. She has the perfect stance while sitting on a newset of vintage style wire wheels wrapped with new coker red line tires. All the gauges are original to the car and in working order. Theradio and speakers are after market and sound great, other than that the car is 100% original and correct. The original set of zenith-stromberg carburetorswhich are quite troublesome were replaced with a seth of 3 new weber carburetors which have made things 100%better, the original carburetors and air breathers will go with the car! It is now kept inside in a climate controlled, environment. This car, has had some major restoration work done ... And some high-performance improvements were also made! This work was done in 2006, by the previous owner (canada). A five (5)-speed transmission an electric cooling fan, with an aluminum radiator a light-weighted fiberglass bonnet has been added. Plus, two late model seats were also added. I am not sure about the car's history, but the motor has jaguar 5-2-64, stamped in raised letters on the motor'sblock. Present condition:there are no scratches no dents or rust, on the paint chrome, or the wire wheels... Drives even greater! I believe that i am the third owner, the mileage was 27,545 when i bought the car... That was almost 5 years ago. It has 27, 561 miles now. The car has been kept inside, in a climate controlled environmentadditional work has been done this year: (all original factory parts were used to replace older parts). From january to march of 2016 the following new parts were replaced: new water pump harmonic balance controller, seats and carpet were removed to repair small rust places in the rear, floor-pan. Both rear stabilizing bars were replaced, new battery the 3-su carburetors were tuned! All work was done by mechanics that work on and restore british cars. Lubrication and all fluids have been topped up. (5) tires, look new but they have been on the car a long time. If there are any other conditions that need attention, i am not aware of them.

1974 jaguar xke v-12 roadster. It is an excellent vehicle that drives out as well as it shows. A very flashy color combination, along with the smooth power of the v-12 and 4-speed transmission, makes this jaguar a pleasure to drive. Body: bright red exterior paint that is in wonderful condition. The car was purchased out of the southern california area where i believe the car was painted. Estimated that the car was painted about 15 years ago but that is unknown. The chrome and trim is in excellent condition and shows well. Lights, glass, and rear window are all in very nice shape. The body is very solid, there is no rust that i am aware of on the car. Also, no known accidents. With all this being said, this is not a 100 point car. The restoration was believed to be 15-20 years ago but is undocumented, therefore i do not know the age of all areas of the car. There is some wear on the car in certain areas. I've tried to show all those areas in the pictures i have. Seats are very nice and do not sag. Carpets are in good shape and fit well. Gauges all work and the dash is in excellent condition. Very nice convertible top on the car with a solid and clear plastic window. Car has spare tire, tools, jack,hammer for knock offs, and owners manual. Engine/transmission: this is a very nice driving car with the desirable 4-speed. Engine pulls strong and runs out well. The clutch feels great and transmission shifts up and down with ease as it should. There is an updated ignition box that was installed by previous owner. Makes the car very reliable. Headers through the exhaust is solid and sounds wonderful. The engine was replaced sometime in the car's history so it is a non-numbers matching car. Reason for the replacement is unknown but it is the correct type motor for the car. I have never had any overheating issues with the car. Overall, it performs very well and is a blast to drive. Suspension/brakes: car handles as it should and brakes work great. Power steering works and the car drives straight down the road. There is some mild squeaking in the brakes that happens occasionally. Overall this is a great car and excellent to drive to shows or just around town. There are about $20k in receipts that come with the car from miscellaneous maintenance and restoration work completed by previous owner.
